We have planned  a trip to South Karnataka.

Kumarakom - 2010 Get together

Decided to have a get together of College mates after 20 years. Decided to go to Kumarakom.  stayed one day in taj kumarakom hotel. The next day in House boat. marvellous experience.

BHARATHPUR Bird Sanctuary - SEP 2009

Started early from Faridabad 8.00 AM , Bearkfast in Dhaba around 9.  Proceed towards mathura. just after mathura flyover took U turn to Bharatpur.  Road was not that great ( work was going on ). Reached Bhartpur around 12.00 clock.  distance around 170 kms

Stayed in 'Hotel Ashok' which is inside the park itself. Booked earlier thru their site for 2 nights. Basic, Decent hotel.

walking / Cycle rickshaw are the options for exploring the park. Evening around 4.00 took Rickshaw, started bird watching.

Next day morning 6.00 clock , again went for bird watching. the around 10 went to fatehpur sikri around 25 kms away.

Back to Bharatpur.

Amritsar-Dharamsala-Dalhouse

Started from FDB around 6 AM, very foggy day, Rchd Amritsar around 3 PM. Visited Jalianwala bagh, and Golden temple in same day. had dinner in Kesar ka Dhaba. One Day Amritsar, one day in Dharmsala and two days in Dalhousie, Kajjiar, Chamba etc

TAJ MAHAL

Started around 6 AM from Faridabad. Just for a day to Tajmahal, Agra. Reached around 10 AM
Visited Tajmahal . Got out around 12.20 PM. Lunch at dasprakash. back to faridabad around 4 PM.

NAINITAL-KAUSANI

Started from Faridabad around 8 AM. Reached Nainital around 5 PM. Bad roads, Traffic delayed the journey.
